New information suggests that the late rock musician Warren Zevon (RIP,) did in fact
meet briefly with the mysterious Werewolf ’s tailor made popular in the 1978 hit single,
‘Werewolves of London.’

Zevon references the Werewolf ’s impeccable grooming and appearance in a verse of the hit,
remarking, “I’d like to meet his tailor.”

The tailor, known as Marciano, has been living in relative obscurity and much preferred anonymity since the song climbed the top 40 charts and launched him,
along with Zevon and the Werewolf, into the public spotlight.

Marciano enjoyed a tailor business catering to upscale clients in Southern California for many years before shutting his doors and relocating to the Bay Area in
1982.

A source close to Marciano verified that the noted tailor and Zevon did meet outside his shop sometime in late 1980, but the musician was apparently quite
inebriated and failed to secure an appointment to be fitted.
